LEGO 71700 Jungle Raider

LEGO Audio & Braille Building Instructions for "LEGO Jungle Raider".

Team up with Lloyd and race around in this Jungle Raider! This buggy’s awesome built-in suspension and large rubber tires help Lloyd tear across the jungle terrain with ease. Jump into the cockpit and prepare to fight!
The box cover shows the Jungle Raider buggy and Lloyd ninja action figure from season 4 of the TV series driving it.
Open the box. This can be tricky; ask someone to help you!
The box contains a booklet with visual building instructions and bags; ask a sighted person to help you find the correct bag!
In the next section we will build Lloyd minifigure.
Collect the following 2 pieces:
1 dark green, bright yellow and black upper part of the body,
and 1 dark green pair of legs.
Put the upper part of the body on the pair of legs.
Collect the following 3 pieces:
1 dark green mask,
1 bright yellow head,
and 1 pale ocher yellow hair.
Put the mask on the neck.
Put the head of the neck.
Put the wig on the head.
Find 1 warm gold sword with wide blade.
Put it in his hand.
Lloyd is now ready to fight his way in the jungle using his sword.
In the next section we will build the Jungle Raider.
Find 1 black plate 2x12.
Put it horizontally on the table.
Collect the following 3 pieces:
1 medium stone grey plate 2x3,
and 2 medium stone grey plates 2x1 with end clasp.
Put plate 2x3 on top left of the previous piece. Covering 6 knobs.
Put 1 plate 2x1 with claps on the front row next to the previous piece, clasp and 1 knob overhanging to the front.
Repeat symmetrical on the back.
Collect the following 2 pieces:
1 dark stone grey plate 4x6,
and 1 dark stone grey plate 2x4 with 2 side connectors.
Put the plate 4x6 horizontally next to the previous pieces. One row overhanging to the front and the back.
Put plate 2x4 with 2 side connectors next to the previous piece. One row overhanging to the front and the back.
Find 1 dark stone grey bottom angle plate 1x2 - 1x2 with side 2 knobs.
Put it on the left most column of the structure. Knobs pointing to the left.
Collect the following 4 pieces:
2 reddish brown plates 1x12,
and 2 transparent green round tiles 1x1.
Put 1 plate 1x12 horizontally next to the previous piece and across the structure. 1 knop overhanging on the right.
Put the other one next to it. Both should be on the horizontal center of the structure.
Put the 2 round tiles on the 2 knob pointing left of the structure.
Find 1 black bottom angle plate 1x2 - 2x2 with 4 side knobs.
Put it horizontally on the table with the 4 knob to the back.
Find 1 dark green plate 1x4.
Put it on top of the previous element. One knop overhanging on each side.
Careful now we will attach this small built to the structure.
Put it underneath the overhanging plate on the right side of the structure. Side knobs to the right.
Find 2 medium stone grey plates 1x10.
Put 1 plate 1x10 covering the front row of the structure,
Repeat symmetrically on the back.
Collect the following 3 pieces:
1 bright orange plate 2x3,
and 2 black plates 1x1 with tooth.
Put 1 plate 1x1 with tooth on the previous piece on the right most knop. Tooth overhanging to the back.
Repeat symmetrically on the front.
Put plate 2x3 between the 2 previous pieces.
Collect the following 4 pieces:
2 dark stone grey plate 1x2 with side roof tile.
And 2 dark stone grey bottom angle plates 1x2 - 1x2 with side 2 knobs.
Put a plate 1x2 with top roof tile on the front plate 1x1 with tooth. Roof tile overhanging the tooth.
Repeat symmetrically on the back side.
Put a bottom angle plate 1x2 next to the previous piece. Side knobs to the front.
Repeat symmetrically on the back. Side knobs to the back.
Collect the following 2 pieces:
1 dark stone grey bottom angle plate 1x2 - 1x2 with side 2 knobs,
and 1 white plate 2x2.
Put bottom angle plate 1x2 between the 2 roof tiles. Side knobs to the right.
Put plate 2x2 next to the previous piece.
Collect the following 3 pieces:
1 medium stone grey plate 2x3,
and 2 dark stone grey roof tiles 1x2 with lattice.
Put plate 2x3 on the previous pieces.
Put roof tile 1x2 with lattice on the side knobs to the front of the structure. The high end to the left.
Repeat symmetrically on the back.
You are doing great! Now put the it aside, while we continue with the next parts.
Now we will build some small parts for the Jungle Raider.
Find 1 dark stone grey beam 1x2 with cross and hole.
Put horizontally on the table. Hole to the right.
Find 1 black connector peg with friction.
Put it in the previous piece from the front.
Find 1 black cross axle 2m with snap with friction.
Put it all the way through the crosshole from the front.
Find 1 medium stone grey brick 1x2 with 2 holes.
The next part can be hard. Make sure to ask for help if needed.
Put the structure with 2 pegs into the 2 holes of the brick 1x2.
Good job! You have built the first part. Now put it a side, we will need it in a minute.
Now we will built the second part.
Find 1 dark stone grey beam 1x2 with cross and hole.
Put it horizontally on the table. This time the hole should be to the left.
Find 1 black connector peg with friction.
Put it in the previous piece.
Find 1 black cross axle 2m with snap with friction.
Put it all the way through the crosshole from the front.
Find 1 medium stone grey brick 1x2 with 2 holes.
Put the structure with 2 pegs into the 2 holes of the brick 1x2.
Turn it. Crossaxel to the front.
Now we will put it on the Jungle Raider. That can be hard, so ask for help if needed.
Make sure the Jungle Raider is placed horizontally on the table. Roof tiles with lattice to the right.
Put it on the front most row of the 2 middle rows. Next to the roof tile with lattice. Crossaxel overhanging to the front.
Repeat symmetrically on the back with the part 1 you created earlier.
Find 1 dark stone grey plate 2x4.
Put it vertically on the previous 2 pieces. One row overhanging to the front  and back.
That was a tough part! Great work!
Now we will build the back of the Jungle Raider.
Find 1 dark stone grey plate 2x2.
Put it on the table.
Collect the following 2 pieces:
1 warm gold plate 1x2 with grill.
and 1 black curved plate 2x2.
Put plate 1x2 with grill on the back row of the previous piece.
Put curved plate 2x2 on the front row. Curve overhanding to the front.
Put it on the Jungle Raider on the knobs on the right side of the structure. Curved plate pointing down.
Great job, now heat from the engine come through the grill on the back.
Next, we will continue to build on the Jungle Raider.
Collect the following 6 pieces:
2 black plates 1x2 with top clasps.
and 4 dark stone grey bottom angle plates 1x2 - 1x2 with side 2 knobs.
Put a plate 1x2 with top clasp vertically on the left most knob on the front row. Top claps to the front.
Repeat symmetrically on the back.
Put a buttom angle plate 1x2 next to the back row next to the previous piece. Side knobs to the back.
Put one more to the right of the previous piece.
Repeat symmetrically on the front.
Put one more next to it.
Collect the following 2 pieces:
1 dark green left plate 2x3 with angle,
and 1 dark green right plate 2x3 with angle.
Put left plate 2x3 with angle on the front row on the left of the structure.
Repeat symmetrically on the back.
This is the start of the hood for the Jungle Raider.
Now we will build the display to drive the Jungle Raider.
Find 1 dark stone grey plate 1x2.
Put it on horizontally on the table.
Find 1 dark stone grey smooth roof tile 1x2.
Put it on top of the previous element.
The graphic on this piece shows a red screen and alot of buttons.
Put it to the left on the lowest section in the middle of the structure. High end to the left.
Find 2 dark green plates 1x4.
Put it horizontally next to the previous piece on the front row.
Repeat symmetrically on the back row.
You have now build the interior of the cockpit. Good job.
We wil now build the front hood of the Jungle Raider.
Find 1 dark stone grey plate 2x2.
Put it on the table.
Find 1 dark green plate 1x2.
Put it vertically on the right collumn.
Find 1 dark green curved brick 2x4.
Put it on the previous piece. Curve overhanging to the left.
Continue if you want to decorate the hood with a sticker now. If not, skip the following 3 sentences.
Find 1 sticker number 3. Ask a sighted person to help you.
Put the sticker on Curved brick 2x4.
The sticker shows mechanical details with a round Ninjago icon of a dragon.
Put it horizontally on the left of the Jungle Raider structure. Curve to the left.
Collect the following 2 pieces:
1 dark green plate 1x2,
and 1 dark stone grey plate 2x4.
Put plate 2x4 horizontally on the right of the structure on the middle 2 rows.
Put plate 1x2 of the left of the previous piece.
Find 2 dark stone grey bricks with arch 1x1 and protruding plate.
Put 1 on the front row, next to the previous piece using the plate.connecting with the lower level.
Repeat symmetrically on the back row.
Find 2 black lamp holders.
Put one next to the plate of the previous piece. Twin connector overhanging to the back.
Repeat symmetrically on the front.
Find 2 dark green plates 1x2.
Put 1 horizontally on top of the previous piece.
Repeat symmetrically on the back.
Find 2 transparent round tiles 1x1.
Put 1 in each of the twin connectors pointing left.
These are lights that are very important when driving in the jungle. Good job!
Now we will built the tail of the Jungle Raider.
Find 1 dark green plate 2x8.
Put it horizontally on the table.
Find 2 black plates 1x2 with stick.
Put 1 on the front row to the right. Stick overhanding to the front.
Repeat symmetrically on the back.
Collect the following 4 pieces:
1 dark stone grey plate 1x2,
2 black plates 1x2 with vertical grip,
and 1 warm gold plate 1x2 with 1 knob.
Put 1x2 plate vertically on the leftmost column.
Put 2 plate 1x2 with top grip horizontally next to the previous piece. Top grip to the left.
Put plate 1x2 with 1 knob vertically next to the previous pieces.
Collect the following 3 pieces:
1 dark stone grey plate 1x1 with top holder,
1 medium stone grey stick 4 knobs long.
and 1 dark stone grey plate 1x2.
Put plate 1x1 with top grip on the previous piece.
Put stick 4 knobs long into the 2 top grips to the left of the structure. Sticker overhanging to the front and back.
Put plate 1x2 vertically to the right of the previous piece.
Find 2 medium stone grey crossaxle bushing 1x1.
Put one on each end of the stick 4 knobs long on the left.
Collect the following 2 pieces:
1 black roof tile 4x4 with slopes.
and 1 black flat tile 2x2.
Put roof tile 4x4 with slopes to the right of the previous piece. Slope to the right.
Put a flat tile to the right of the previous piece.
Collect the following 3 pieces:
1 warm gold katana sword,
and 2 black banners with 2 holders.
Put the handle of the katana sword in the claps on the middle of the structure. Blade pointing to the right.
Put 1 banner with 2 clasps in on the stick on the front right of the structure. Slope to the right.
Repeat symmetrically on the back.
Now we will attach it to the Jungle Raider. This part can be hard!
Mount the tail part to the middle 2 rows to the right side of the Jungle Raider. Tail overhanging to the right.
Find 2 dark green curved pieces 1x2.
These 2 bricks will lock the tail.
Put 1 vertically on the left column of the high section of the Jungle Raider. Curve to the front.
Repeat symmetrically on the back. Curve to the back.
Collect the following 2 pieces:
1 black plate 2x2 with 2 wheel axel.
and 1 dark stone grey curved disk 2x2.
Flip the Jungle Raider upside down.This means the top knobs touch the table. Tail to the right.
Careful! This piece has a special orientation.
Flip 1 plate 2x2 with 2 wheel axels upside down.
Put it on the left most side of the structure.
Put the curved disk 2x2 on the right most side of the structure.
Flip the structure right upside again. Tail to the left now.
Great job! You have finshed the tail.
We will now build the one of the side panels of the Jungle Raider.
Find 1 dark green left plate 2x3 with angle.
Put it horizontally on the table. Short end to the right.
Collect the following 2 pieces:
1 dark green smooth curve piece 1x2.
and 1 warm gold plate 1x2 with grill.
Put curve piece 1x2 on the right most knob of the previous element. Curve overhanging to the right.
Put plate 1x2 with grill left of the previous piece.
Continue if you want to decorate the side with a sticker now. If not, skip the following 3 sentences.
Find 1 sticker number 1. Ask a sighted person to help you.
The sticker shows a golden dragon and air ventilation for the Jungle Raider.
Put the sticker on the curved piece 1x2.
Mount the side part on the 4 knobs on the front of the structure. Curve to the right.
You finished one of the sides! We will continue with the other side in a minute.
Now we will build the suspensions.
Find 1 black beam 4x2 with 90 hole.
Put it on the table crossed holes to the right.
Find 1 black connector peg.
Put it in the top hole to the right. Connector overhanding to the right.
Find 1 black technic bushing beam 1x1.
Put it on the previous piece.
Now we will attach the suspension to the Jungle Raider.
Put the right hole on to the rear wheel axel to the front left of the structure.
Put the suspension horizontally, but tilt it downwards by a few degrees.
Find 1 black rubber band with 2 crossholes.
Put it on the 2 crossaxels on the front of the structure. Next to the 1x2 plate with grill.
Now turn the structure 180 degrees. So that the other side of the Jungle Raider is at the front. Tail to the right.
Great work! Now we need to do the other side.
Now we continue with the side panel for the other side of the Jungle Raider.
Find 1 dark green right plate 2x3 with angle.
Put it horizontally on the table. Short end to the left.
Collect the following 2 pieces:
1 dark green smooth curve piece 1x2.
and 1 warm gold plate 1x2 with grill.
Put 1 curve piece 1x2 on the left most knop on the previous piece. Curve overhanging to the left.
Put the plate 1x2 with grill next to the previous piece.
Continue if you want to decorate the side with a sticker now. If not, skip the following 3 sentences.
Find 1 sticker number 2. Ask a sighted person to help you.
The sticker shows a golden dragon and air ventilation for the Jungle Raider.
Put the sticker on the curved piece 1x2.
Mount the side part on the 4 knobs on the front of the structure. Curve to the right.
You have now finished the side. Great work!
Lets build the last supension for this side.
Find 1 black beam 4x2 with 90 hole.
Put it on the table crossed holes to the left.
Find 1 black connector peg.
Put it in the top hole to the left. Connector overhanding to the left.
Find 1 black technic bushing beam 1x1.
Put it on the previous piece.
Now we will attach the suspension to the Jungle Raider.
Put the left hole on to the rear wheel axel to the front right of the structure.
Find 1 black rubber band w. 2 crossholes.
Put it on the 2 crossaxels on the front of the structure. Next to the 1x2 plate with grill.
Very well done. Now the suspensions are done.
Now we will build iron bars for the top.
Find 1 black robot arm with grip.
Put it on the table. Grip down to the right.
Find 1 medium stone grey Stick 4 knobs long.
Put it in the small hole on the front of the previous piece.
Find 1 black robot arm with grip.
Put it symmetrically on the other end of the stick.
Mount the structure onto the Jungle Raider by connecting the 2 grips to the stick with wheels on top of the Jungle Raider.
Find 2 black shafts 3 knobs long.
Put them on the table next to each other.
Find 2 black light sword handles.
Put one on each of the previous pieces.
Find 2 medium stone grey connector pegs with middle ring.
Put one in each hole of the suspensions on the right side of the structure.Overhanging away from the structure.
Good job, we are now allmost done!
Now we will built the wheels.
Find 2 warm gold wide rims 18x14 with hole.
Put them on the table.
Find 2 black wide rubber tires with profile.
Put one on each rim.
Put them on the connector at the end of the suspension at the backned of the Jungle Raider.
Now we will built the front wheels.
Find 2 warm gold wide rims 18x14 with hole.
Find 2 black tyre low wides.
Put the tyres on the rim.
Put them on the front wheels on the 2 connectors on each side in the front of the Jungle Raider.
Find 4 warm gold katana swords.
Put 2 katana swords on the claps on each side of the hood. Blade overhanging the front wheels.
Put the other 2 katana swords the claps on the side of the Jungle Raider, behind the front wheel. Blade to the back.
Put the other 2 katana swords the claps on the side of the Jungle Raider, behind the front wheel. Blade to the back.

These swords will help the Jungle Raider cut through the jungle in no time! Make sure you bring your Lloyd Minifigure on your adventures.
