LEGO 60241 Police Dog Unit

LEGO Audio & Braille Building Instructions for the LEGO City set  "Police Dog Unit".

A crook is trying to break into the jewelry store to steal the precious gems. This is a job for the LEGO City Police Dog Unit. Hop behind the wheel of the powerful police car and race to the scene.
On the boxfront, the LEGO City Police is about to catch the crook, with the help from the Police dog, who has just stolen a diamand from the jewelry store.
Open the box. This can be tricky; ask someone to help you!
The box containes a booklet with visual building instructions and unnumbered bags.
Before you get started, ask a sighted person to help you sort the bricks by color. This way, you will be even faster with finding the right peice!
First, we will build a policeman minifigure.  He has handcuffs to arrest the crook, and his dog helps him on his adventures!
Find the following 2 pieces:
1 earth blue pair of leg,
and 1 light royal blue and bright yellow upper part of the body.
Put the upper part of the body on top of the leg.
The policeman wears a light blue shirt with a dark blue tie and a police badge on it. The dark blue pants are kept in place with a brown leather belt.
Find the following 2 pieces:
1 bright yellow head,
and 1 medium nougat wig.
Put them on top.
The policeman has a gritty smile on his face. He is determined to catch the thief!
Find 1 medium stone grey pair of handcuffs.
Put the handcuffs in the left hand of the policeman.
Place the policeman horizontal on the table.
Find 1 medium nougat dog with knob.
Place the dog horizontal on the table next to the policeman.
The policeman is finished! Well done! Put him aside for now.
In the next section we will build a new minifigure. The minifigure is a crook with a crowbar and a sack in his hands.
Find the following 2 pieces:
1 white and bright yellow upper part of the body,
and 1 dark stone grey pair of leg.
Put the upper part of the body on top of the leg.
Find the following 2 pieces:
1 bright yellow head,
and 1 new dark red pixie cap.
Put them on top.
He has a slightly mean expression to his face.
Find the following 2 pieces:
1 bright red mini figure crowbar,
and 1 medium nougat sack with 3.2 shaft.
Put the crowbar and sack in the hands of the crook.
The crook minifigure is finished! Well done! He wears white prison uniform with grey stripes. He sure is up to no good, so you better watch out!
In the next section we will build the police car.
Find 1 white and medium stone grey waggon bottom 4x10 with 4 wheel arches.
Place it horizontally on the table.
Find the following 8 pieces.
4 medium stone grey wide rims with hole.
And 4 black wide rubber tyres with profile.
Insert the rims into the tyres.
Snap the wheels onto the side connectores of the waggon bottom.
Find 1 dark stone grey roof tile 2x2.
Put it on the lower part of the waggon bottom at the right edge, slope to the left.
Find 1 bright yellow brick 1x2.
Put it vertically on the table.
Find 1 black plate 1x2.
Put it vertically on top.
Put this build vertically on the lower part of the waggon bottom at the left edge.
Find the following 2 pieces:
1 black seat 2x2x2,
and 1 black and medium stone grey small steering wheel with plate 1x2.
Put the seat to the left of the roof tile on the lower part, seatback to the right.
Put the steering wheel with plate 1x2 vetically to the left.
Find the following 3 pieces:
1 bright red plate 2x3,
and 2 bright blue plates 1x8.
Put the plate 2x3 horizontally on the middle two rows to the right of the seat.
Put the plate 1x8 horizontally on the frontmost row, starten from the right.
Repeat symmetrically at the back.
Find 1 bright blue curve piece 2x4x⅔.
Put it vertically on the two leftmost cokumns, curve to the left.
The plate is corated with a gold police star. Police is written with big letters.
Find 4 bright blue profile bricks 1x2.
Put two horizontally on the frontmost row starting from the right.
Repeat symmetrically at the back.
Find 2 bright blue flat tiles 1x4.
Put one horizontally on top.
Repeat symmetrically at the front.
Find the following 2 pieces:
1 dark stone grey flat tile 1x4,
and 1 medium stone grey plate with bow 1x4x⅔.
Careful! These pieces have a special orientation! We will mount them on the left side surface of the waggon.
Put the flat tile 1x4 upright vertically on the top row of the side knobs on the left side of the waggon bottom.
The flat tile is decorated with front lights.
Put the plate with the bow 1x4x2/3 upright vertically below the previous plate.
Find 1 transparent light blue windscreen 2x4x2.
Put it vertically to hte left of the steering wheel, slide to the left.
Find 1 lemon yellow plate 1x4.
Put it vertically to the left of the steering wheel, slide to the lift.
Find 2 transparent blue flat tiles 1x2.
Put it vertically on top.
Find 2 medium stone grey plates 1x2 with vertical grip.
Careful! These pieces have a special orientation. We will mount them on the right side surface of the waggon.
Put them upright horizontally on the two middle columns at the right side of the waggon bottom, grips to the top.
Find the following 3 pieces:
2 transparent red flat tiles 1x2,
and 1 dark stone grey grille plate 1x2.
Careful! These pieces have a special orientation. We will mount them on the right side surface of the waggon.
Put one flat tile 1x2 upright horizontally to the back of the previous pieces.
Repeat symmetrically at the front.
Put the grille plate upright vertically below the grips of the 2 plates 1x2 with vertically grip.
Find 1 black fender front.
Snap it into the vertical grips on the right side, 2 prostusions to the bottom.
You are now finished building the police car. Well done. Seat the policeman behind the wheel and chase after the crook.
In the next section we will build the jewelry store.
Find 1 medium stone grey plate 4x6.
Put it horizontally on the table.
Find 3 medium nougat bricks 2x2.
Put them on the back two rows.
Find the following 2 pieces:
1 reddish brown plate 1x4,
and 1 pale ocher yellow brick 1x2x2.
Put the plate 1x4 horizontally on the backmost row in the middel.
Put the brick 1x2x2 vertically to the right.
Find 2 warm gold plates 1x2 with 1 knob.
Put them horizontally on top of the plate 1x4.
Find the following 2 pieces:
1 transparent light blue diamond with stick,
and 1 transparent diamond with stick.
Insert the light blue diamond into the knob of the left plate 1x2 with 1 knob, and the other diamond into the right knob.
Find 1 black plate 1x4 with 2 knobs.
Put it horizontally in front of the plates with diamonds on.
Find 1 pale ocher yellow brick 1x2x2.
Put it vertically on the loeftmost column at the back.
Find 2 new dark red smooth roof tiles 1x2x2 /3.
Put one vertically on top, slope to the left.
Repeat symmetrically on the right.
Next, we will build the juweller's shop window. Assembling the window can be tricky, ask someone for help is necessary.
Find 1 black frame 1x4x3.
Put it flat on the table, inner notch to the top and two knobs to the back.
Find 1 transparent glass for frame 1x4x3.
Snap it into the window frame. The window glass has two small bumps at the top that fit perfectly into the notches on the inside of the frame.
Now, flip your window up again, knobs to the top and window glass to the front. The window opens at the bottom.
Find 1 medium stone grey bottom angle plate 1x2 - 2x2 with 4 side knobs.
Put it on top of the window in the middle, overhanging to the front, side knobs to the front.
Find 1 new dark red plate with bow 1x4x⅔.
Put it vertically on top of the window frame.
Find 1 white flat tile 2x2.
Careful! This piece has a special orientation! We will mount it on the side surface of the angle plate.
Put it upright on the side knobs of the bottom angle plate.
The tile is printet with the logo of the jewelry store, a big light blue diamond.
You are now finished building the diamond shop and the whole set. Nice job. Enjoy the play.
