LEGO 10781 Miles Morales: Spider-Man's Techno-Trike LEGO Audio & Braille Building Instructions for the LEGO Marvel Spidey and his amazing friends set "Miles Morales: Spider-Man's Techno-Trike". Green Goblin is flying high in the skies above New York City. Join Miles Morales: Spider-Man as he rolls into action on his high-tech monster trike. Dodge out the way as Green Goblin launches one of his pumpkin tricks. Fire a web to take this super villain’s glider down and save the day! On the box cover, miles Morales is chasing after Green Goblin in his cool black and red techno trike, his spider web already in midair! The techno trike has two large, sturdy front wheels and one rear wheel, making the trike an agile and speedy vehicle. It also has a jet engine with flames and two big headlights. Green Goblin is speeding off on his lilac and grey glider with two adjustable wings, ready to attack with his pumpkin weapon. In the top right corner, Spidey, Ghost-Spider, and Spin are peeking into the scene, shooting out spider webs. Open the box. This can be tricky; ask someone to help you! The box contains 1 booklet with visual building instructions, 2 bags with bricks in them, and 2 loose pieces which are vehicle frame parts. Carefully open both bags. Make sure there are no elements left at the bottom of the bags. Before you start building, ask a sighted person to help you sort the pieces by color. This makes finding the correct pieces even easier! First, we will build the Miles Morales Minifigure. Careful: the pieces for the Miles Morales and green Goblin Minifigures are very similar. Some of them only differ in color. Pay close attention to the colors or ask a sighted person to help you find the correct pieces. Collect the following 2 pieces: 1 bright red pair of legs, and 1 black and bright red upper part of the body. Put the upper body on top of the legs. The chest of the Minifigure is printed with a bold red V, like a V-neck revealing a spiderweb pattern with a big red spider at the top. Find 1 black head. Put it on the body. Miles Morales' face has a red spider web in the middle and two big white eyes with red edging. Find 1 bright red spider web 5x8x2 with handle. Snap the handle of the spider web into one of Miles Morales' hands. The Miles Morales Minifigure is finished! Great job! His spider web will come in handy for catching mischief-makers and other crooks. Now, we build the tech trike. The tech trike is a black-and-red three-wheeler with one smaller rear wheel and two large front wheels. It has a jet engine with flame and two blue headlights. The hood is printed with a pair of white Spidey eyes with red edge and a red spider web. Collect the following 3 pieces: 2 bright yellow connector pegs 2m with middle ring, (2m means the piece is about 2 knobs long) and 1 bright red vehicle frame 2x10 with 2 suspension springs. Put the vehicle frame horizontally. Make sure that the slopes of the top wings are at the back, and the 4 middle side knobs are pointing to the back, as well. Insert 1 connector peg from the front into the right hole in the middle of the front surface. Do not confuse it with the hole on the very right edge. Repeat with the second connector peg, putting it into the left hole in the middle. If done correctly, half of each connector peg is sticking out towards the front. Next, we will assemble the rear wheel. Collect the following 2 pieces: 1 medium stone grey wide rim with hole and spokes, and 1 black wide rubber tire with low profile. (Careful, there are two different types of tires in this set. Now we need the tire with low profile. This means that it is thinner than the other tires) Insert the rim into the rubber tire. Find 2 bright yellow connector pegs 2m with middle ring. Insert one connector peg into the hole on the left side of the rim. Repeat symmetrically on the right. The rear wheel is finished! Now let's mount it on the vehicle frame: insert one of the wheel connectors into the front-to-back hole on the right side of the vehicle frame. Now, the other wheel connector should also stick out towards the front, similar to the 2 connectors in the middle. Find 1 bright red vehicle frame 2x10 with 2 suspension springs. First, hold it so that you mirror the first vehicle frame element along the long straight side. This means that you hold it horizontally, and the slopes of the top wings are at the front. Connect it to the rest of your structure by carefully pushing it on the three connectors. Make sure that the rightmost hole connects with the rightmost connector. If done correctly, the two vehicle frame parts are joined perfectly in the middle, and the slopes of the top wings at the front and at the back. The rear wheel is on the right side connected to both vehicle frame pieces. That was tricky, great job! Next up, let's assemble the 2 front wheels. Collect the following 4 pieces: 2 black wide rubber tires with high profile, and 2 bright red wide rims with hole and spokes. Put the rims into the rubber tires. Now, lay the wheels flat on the table and make sure that the spokes of the rim are at the top. Find 2 bright yellow connector pegs 2m with middle ring. Insert 1 connector peg top-to-bottom into the middle hole of one of the wheels. Half of the connector peg will stick out towards the top. Repeat with the other connector peg and wheel. The 2 front wheels are finished! Well done! Mount 1 wheel by pushing its connector front-to-back into the hole on the left edge at the front of the vehicle. Repeat symmetrically at the back. If done correctly, the two front wheels are on the left edge on the outside of the vehicle, while the rear wheel is clamped into the two vehicle frames. Find 1 bright blue plate 2x3. Put it horizontally on the topmost surface, starting from the right edge. Collect the following 2 pieces: 1 black panel element 1x4x1, and 1 black grille tile 1x2. Put the panel element horizontally on the frontmost row of the lower surface, panel to the back. Flip the grille tile upright so that the grille faces you. Put it upright horizontally on the two middle knobs of the front knobs pointing towards you. Collect the following 3 pieces: 1 bright blue plate 1x2 with vertical clasp on long side, and 2 bright red mudguard plates 3x4 with curved arch. Put the plate 1x2 vertically in the middle of the third column from the left, clasp to the right. Put 1 mudguard plate 3x4 on the two front knobs to the left of the previous piece, curved arch overhanging towards the front. Repeat symmetrically at the back. These are the mudguards of the front wheels and should sit neatly just above the wheels. Find 1 black low profile brick 2x2x⅔. (This piece has horizontal ridges on its sides.) Put it in the middle of the second and third column from the left. This means that the leftmost column of knobs remains empty. Collect the following 3 pieces: 1 black smooth roof tile 1x2x⅔, and 2 earth blue plates 1x2. Put the smooth roof tile vertically on the right column of the previous piece, slope to the right. Put 1 plate 1x2 horizontally on the frontmost row, starting from the left edge. Repeat symmetrically at the back. Find 1 black top angle plate 1x2 - 2x4 with 8 side knobs. Put it vertically between the two previous pieces on the leftmost column, side plate overhanging to the left. Find 1 black roof tile 4x2 with 5 slopes and 1 straight side. Careful! This piece has a special orientation. Put it upright vertically on the previous piece. Make sure that the straight edge is flush with the top and the slopes are to the bottom and to the sides. Find 1 black triple-curved tile 4x3. (This piece is printed.) Put it horizontally on the left side of the trike, long slope to the left. Make sure that this piece also covers the previous piece so they are flush on the left edge. Collect the following 2 pieces: 1 black small panel element 1x4x1, and 1 black grille tile 1x2. Now, turn your build from left to right. This means that the rear wheel is now on the left, and the 2 front wheels are on the right. Put the small panel element horizontally on the frontmost row of the lower surface, panel to the back. Put the grille tile upright horizontally on the 2 middle knobs of the front knobs pointing to the front. Find 1 dark stone grey handlebar with bottom shaft. Snap the shaft of the handlebar into the clasp that sticks out from the right towards the middle of the build. Adjust it so that it can serve as a handlebar for the trike. Collect the following 2 pieces: 1 black brick 1x2 with 2 side knobs, and 1 dark stone grey brick 2x2 with 2 side connectors. Put the brick 1x2 vertically on the leftmost column, side knobs to the left. Put the brick 2x2 to the right of the previous piece, connectors pointing to the front and back. Find 1 black flat tile 2x3. Put it horizontally on top of the two previous pieces. Now, we will build the jet engine. Collect the following 2 pieces: 1 transparent bright orange flame with 5 fire tongues, and 1 medium stone grey round brick 2x2 with sloped sides and 1 knob. Put the round brick on the table, knob to the top. Insert the shaft of the flame into the knob. Make sure the slightly curved tongues of the flame point to the top. The jet engine is finished! Flip it upright and mount it on the 2 side knobs pointing to the left. Next, we make the 2 headlights. Collect the following 4 pieces: 2 bright blue round bricks 2x2 with side hole, and 2 transparent light blue domes 2x2 with 1 knob. Put the 2 round bricks 2x2 on the table. Put the 2 domes on top of the 2 round bricks. The 2 headlights are finished! Flip 1 upright and put the hole of the round brick onto the connector sticking out towards the front at the top right. Make sure the dome is pointing towards the front wheels. Repeat with the second headlight at the back. Again, make sure that the dome is pointing to the front wheels. The tech trike is finished! Very well done! Now, Miles Morales can mount his cool ride and chase after mischief-makers. Soon enough he will meet Green Goblin! Do you think Miles Morales can catch him? Next, we will build the Green Goblin Minifigure. Collect the following 2 pieces: 1 medium lilac pair of legs, and 1 medium lilac and bright yellowish green upper part of the body. Put the upper body on top of the legs. Collect the following 2 pieces: 1 medium lilac and bright yellowish green goblin hat with ears, and 1 bright yellowish green head. Put the head on the body. Green Goblin's head is printed with two different faces: on one side, he has an evil grin on his face, but the other face looks distressed and worried. Put the goblin hat on top of the head. Next, we will assemble Green Goblin's pumpkin weapon. Collect the following 2 pieces: 1 bright orange pumpkin, and 1 bright yellowish green piece with ice cream scoops 1x1. Put the pumpkin on the table. The two ends of the pumpkin are very similar because they both have holes. If the next step does not work, try turning the pumpkin upside down. Put the ice cream scoops on the top knob of the pumpkin. Green Goblin's pumpkin weapon is finished! Put it on one of Green Goblin's hands. The Green Goblin Minifigure is finished! Great job! Now all that is missing is his glider and he will be soaring in the sky and up to no good. Next, we will build Green Goblin's glider. It is a light-weight flying device with 2 lilac adjustable wings, a pointy front and a small surface with knobs on which Green Goblin can stand. Find 1 dark stone grey inverted double roof tile 2x4, 45°. Put it horizontally on the table, wings to the left and right. Find 1 bright yellowish green one-stepped plate 2x2x⅔ with 2 side knobs. Put it on the four middle knobs, side knobs pointing to the front. Find 1 bright blue plate 1x2 with vertical clasp on long side. Put it horizontally on the back row of the previous piece, clasp to the back. Find 2 medium stone grey plates 1x2 with shaft on long side. Put 1 vertically on the rightmost column, shaft overhanging to the right. Repeat symmetrically on the left. Collect the following 3 pieces: 1 medium stone grey triple-sloped roof tile 1x2 45°, and 2 medium lilac one-stepped curve tiles 1x2x⅔. Put the roof tile upright horizontally on the side knobs pointing to the front. Make sure the straight edge is at the bottom, and the slopes are at the top and on the sides. Put 1 curve tile horizontally on the back row, starting from the left, curve to the right. Repeat symmetrically on the right. Find 2 medium lilac angled banners 2x2 with 2 clasps. Snap the clasps of 1 banner on the right side handle, angled side to the front. Repeat symmetrically on the left. Green Goblin's glider is finished! Great job! Green Goblin can stand on the top knobs and rush off to do mischief and crime! He will be superfast on his glider -- it's high time for Miles Morales to pick up the pace and stop him! You have now finished building the whole set! Fantastic job! Put Miles Morales in the driver's seat of his tech trike, make sure to have the huge spider web ready, and try to catch Green Goblin! Watch out, he is a cunning adversary! Enjoy!
