LEGO 60451 Emergency Ambulance

LEGO Audio & Braille Building Instructions for the LEGO City set "Emergency Ambulance".

If you would like to access the help menu to find out how to use and navigate these instructions, tap with two fingers or press key "H".

Uh-oh! A fallen skateboarder needs help. Join the medic and race to the scene aboard the emergency ambulance. This vehicle doesn’t just look awesome – it’s loaded with cool features. Fold up the side panels and open the rear doors to access the onboard stretcher and medical equipment. Exciting rescue adventures await in LEGO City!

The box cover shows the Emergency Ambulance front and center during a rescue operation. The vehicle is a big van with a turquoise undercarriage and a white vehicle body. Its rear doors are open but the interior is not visible from this angle. The large side hatch is printed with a turquoise Star of Life, a symbol often used by medical emergency services. The Emergency Ambulance is parked in the middle of a skatepark. The medic is busy pushing the stretcher out of the halfpipe towards the rear of the vehicle. The skateboarder is sitting on the stretcher. She is wearing a plaster cast on her right arm! Seems like her last trick didn't go too well. Luckily, the ambulance came to her rescue. The medic will provide first aid and, if necessary, take her to the hospital. Now, let's start building!

Open the box. It contains 2 booklets with visual building instructions, 2 numbered bags and 1 loose piece: 1 car underbody 4x14x1. We will refer to the bag numbers to guide you through the building process. Please ask a sighted person to help you identify the correct bags!

Carefully open bag number 1 and any small sub-bags in it. This bag contains all bricks and pieces for the Medic Minifigure and the first half of the Emergency Ambulance with undercarriage, wheels and driver's cabin.

If you like, you can ask a sighted person to sort the pieces by color before you start building. We recommend using trays or bowls. This can make finding the correct pieces easier! However, if you would like to build without brick colors entirely, you can also ignore them or turn them off. There are different ways to sort and organize the bricks and your building process. It is up to you!

First, we will build the Medic Minifigure.

Collect the following 2 pieces:

1 vibrant yellow, teal blue and black upper part of the body,

and 1 teal blue pair of legs.

Put the upper body on the legs.

The Medic Minifigure is finished! Well done! He is wearing a teal blue uniform. The trousers have reflective stripes on the knees and 2 large pockets. The jacket also has reflective stripes on the chest and shoulder parts. Its lower and side patches are neon yellow. It also has 2 large front pockets. Medics have a lot of equipment they need to carry around with them, so pockets are essential! The back of the jacket is printed with a turquoise Star of Life, a symbol often used by medical emergency services. It is a star-shaped icon with 6 rays that have blunt ends. In its middle, there is a rod of Asclepius. The Medic Minifigure has a three-day stubble, and the look on his face is a no-nonsense kind of expression. He has to deal with a lot of difficult situations in his work day, but he can take it! Let's continue building now.

Next, we will build the first half of the Emergency Ambulance.
