If you would like to access the help menu to find out how to use and navigate these instructions, tap with two fingers or press key "H".

A visit to the candy store is such a sweet treat! Leo brings his little sister Alba to choose her own candy. Pluto the kitten comes along too. They meet the store owner Gigi who shows them all the sweet treats on offer. Use the scoop to select from the pick'n'mix. Or try out the giant lollipop, then see where the candy is made. Remember to wave to the cute chocolate bar and candy mascots!

On the box cover, the bright and colorful candy store stands under a sunny Heartlake City sky. The shopfront sparkles with turquoise and pink, topped by a big colorful candy-themed sign above the entrance in the middle. To the right, rows of jars and bins fill the window of the pick'n'mix section, while the left side allows a peek into the kitchen where new sweets are being made. In the shop windows directly to the left and right of the entrance there is a giant lollipop on display as well as a Guble Bubble advertisement. Leo is in front of the store, waving at Gigi. He has some money in his hand, it seems like he is ready to buy some sweet treats! Little Alba plays happily with Pluto the kitten by his side. Gigi with her shiny pink hair also stands in front of the store with a basket full of sweet treats in her hand. At the edges, the cheerful mascots shaped like a chocolate bar and a wrapped candy are smiling at everyone who passes by. Behind the store, Heartlake City’s green parkland glows in the sunshine, making this the perfect spot for a sweet adventure. But now, let's get started!

Open the box. It contains visual building instructions, 5 numbered bags and 1 sticker sheet. We will refer to the bag numbers to guide you through the building process. Please ask a sighted person to help you identify the correct bags!

The sticker sheet has 6 stickers. Some of them have identical shapes, so if you would like to find and attach the stickers yourself, these are your options: You can try to feel the outlines of the stickers and search for the longest sticker in the set, it has the size 2x4. Turn the sticker sheet so that this sticker is oriented vertically and in the bottom left corner of the sticker sheet. If you prefer, you can also ask a sighted person to orientate the sticker sheet such that the bold black line is on the left edge. We will refer to both the shape and the location of the sticker on the sticker sheet during the building process. However, of course you can also decide to skip the stickers in the building process for now or ask a sighted person to help you attach them if you like.

Carefully open bag number 1 and any small sub-bags in it. This bag contains all bricks and pieces for the Alba Minidoll, the Candy Mascot and the entrance of the candy store.

If you like, you can ask a sighted person to help you sort the pieces by color before you start building. We recommend using trays or bowls. This can make finding the correct pieces easier! However, if you would like to build without brick colors entirely, you can also ignore them or turn them off. There are different ways to sort and organize the bricks and your building process. It is up to you!

First, we will build the Alba Minidoll.

Collect the following 2 pieces:

1 medium nougat brown Minidoll head,

and 1 medium nougat brown and aqua blue small Minidoll body with skirt.

Put the Minidoll head on the body. Make sure the nose and the hands are pointing in the same direction.

Find 1 dark brown hairpiece with shoulder-length hair and fringes.

Put it on the head.

The Alba Minidoll is finished! Well done! Alba has short dark brown hair with soft waves and straight bangs framing her face. She is dressed in a light turquoise dress with a striped shirt underneath and bright blue pinafore dress on top of it. Two little front pockets add playful detail to her outfit. On her feet, she wears matching turquoise shoes that complete her cheerful look. Alba's wide brown eyes and gentle smile give her an open and friendly expression.

Now, we will build the Candy Mascot.

Collect the following 2 pieces:

1 bright yellow brick 1x2x1⅔ with 8 side knobs and 1 smooth side,

and 1 bright yellow rounded plate 1x2.

Put the rounded plate 1x2 horizontally on the table.

Put the brick 1x2x1⅔ horizontally on top, smooth side to the back.

Find 2 yellowish orange plates 1x2 with 1 knob.

Put 1 upright vertically on the 2 left side knobs.

Repeat symmetrically on the right.

Find 2 yellowish orange round tiles 1x1 with small top shaft.

Put 1 upright on the previous piece, shaft pointing to the right.

Repeat symmetrically on the left.

This is the base of the mascot's head. We will later insert the legs into the bottom surface of this build.

Next up, we will assemble the mascot legs.

Collect the following 4 pieces:

2 bright yellow rounded plates 1x2,

and 2 white flagpoles 1x1x3.

Put 1 rounded plate 1x2 vertically on the table.

Put 1 flagpole on the back knob.

Repeat with the 2 remaining pieces.

Find 2 white half-circle tiles 1x1.

Put 1 in front of one flagpole, half circle to the front.

Repeat on the other leg.

The mascot legs are finished! Well done! Insert 1 flagpole from the bottom into the left side of the mascot head base and insert the other one into the right side.

Adjust the rounded tips of the mascot feet a bit so that the toes are pointing outwards, giving the mascot a more stable stance.

Find 1 yellowish orange round curve brick 4x4 with center cut-out.

Flip it upright so that the smooth surface and cut-out are facing you. Mount it centered on the 4 side knobs pointing to the front.

Collect the following 2 pieces:

1 yellowish orange round tile 2x2,

and 1 round sticker 2x2 with orange winky face. (This is sticker number 2. On the sticker sheet, it is located at the top edge on the right.)

Put the sticker on the smooth surface of the round tile, matching its shape.

Flip the round tile upright so that the smooth surface is towards you and mount it in the cut-out of the round curve brick.

Find 2 yellowish orange domes 1½x1½ with 1 knob.

Flip it upright so that the knob of the dome is pointing to the left. Stick the dome on the small shaft that is sticking out from the right side surface of the mascot's head.

Repeat symmetrically on the left.

The Candy Mascot is finished! Great job! The candy mascot's head is a larger-than-life version of a twist-wrapped candy. It has a happy orange face and is winking at you! It has cute pink cheeks and a big smile on its face.

Next, we will build the Candy Store Entrance.

Collect the following 2 pieces:

1 beige plate 8x8,

and 1 light lavender round tile 2x2.

Put the plate 8x8 on the table. Make sure its knobs form straight rows and columns in front of you.

Put the round tile 2x2 on the front left corner.

Next, we will build a floor extension.

Collect the following 2 pieces:

1 yellowish green round tile 1x1,

and 1 beige plate 2x6 with 2 rounded corners.

Put the plate 2x6 vertically on the table, rounded corners to the left.

Put the round tile 1x1 on the backmost knob.

Find 1 yellowish green plate 2x2 with 1 knob.

Put it in front of the previous piece on the right column, 1/2 overhanging to the right.

Mount the overhanging plate of the floor extension vertically on the leftmost column of the base plate 8x8. Make sure the frontmost tip of the extension is flush with the front edge of the base plate.

Now, we will build another floor extension.

Collect the following 2 pieces:

1 yellowish green round tile 1x1,

and 1 beige plate 2x6 with 2 rounded corners.

Put the plate 2x6 horizontally on the table, rounded corners to the front.

Put the round tile 1x1 on the rightmost knob.

Find 1 yellowish green plate 2x2 with 1 knob.

Put it to the left of the previous piece on the back row, 1/2 overhanging to the back.

Mount the overhanging plate of the floor extension horizontally on the frontmost row of the base plate, making sure that its leftmost tip is flush with the front left corner of the base plate.

If done correctly, the 2 tips of the 2 floor extensions just about meet at the front left corner of the base plate 8x8.

Now, turn the structure 45° to the left until it is in a position where the base plate resembles a diamond shape. In other words, the 4 corners of the base plate should now be pointing to the front, back, left and right and the 2 floor extensions are symmetrically running towards you at an angle, meeting at the front tip of the base plate.

Collect the following 4 pieces:

2 yellowish green round tiles 1x1,

and 2 light lavender quarter-arched tiles 2x2.

Put the 2 round tiles directly behind the round tile 2x2 that we have mounted in the beginning. This means they will sit between the 2 inner corners of the plates 2x2 with 1 knob.

Put 1 quarter-arched tile 2x2 in front of the left round tile 1x1 from the previous step. This means that it will hug the left edge of the round tile 2x2.

Repeat symmetrically on the right.

Now, we will build the entrance door.

Collect the following 2 pieces:

1 transparent door for frame 1x4x6,

and 1 bright purple zig-zagged door frame 2x4.

Put the zig-zagged door frame horizontally in front of you, spikes pointing to the back.

Hold the door upright vertically in front of you, making sure that the 2 bumps on its short sides are on the left edge and the door knob is on the right edge. Snap the 2 bumps into the frame.

Find 1 white round tile 1x1. (This piece is printed.)

Make sure the door is closed and put it upright on the doorknob. It is printed with a red swirl and looks just like a peppermint swirl candy.

Find 1 bubble-shaped sticker 1x2 with "OPEN" sign. (This is sticker number 4. It is located in the very center of the sticker sheet.)

Make sure the door is still closed and put the sticker horizontally into the middle of the top half of the door.

The entrance door is finished! Well done! Mount it in its building orientation horizontally centered behind the 2 round tiles 1x1. With its slanted sides, it will fit neatly between the 2 plates 2x2 with 1 knob.

Find 2 medium azure blue corner bricks 1x2 - 1x2.

Before you mount them, turn the structure around until the front door with floor extensions is towards the back and the empty base plate corner opposite of the door is pointing towards you.

Hold 1 corner brick so that its outer corner is pointing to the back and its 2 arms are to the front left and front right.

Mount it to the right of the door frame so that its front left end touches the slanted side of the door frame. Make sure that its front right end is flush with the back right edge of the base plate.

Repeat symmetrically on the left.

Find 2 medium azure blue corner tiles 1x2 - 1x2 with cut-off corner.

Put 1 horizontally to the right of the previous piece's front right end. It should hug the leftmost bottom spike of the zig-zagged door frame.

Put the other one horizontally to the right of the previous piece, hugging the rightmost spike of the door frame.

Next up, we will build 2 bottom connection mounts.

Repeat with the 3 remaining pieces to create the second bottom connection mount.

The 2 bottom connection mounts are finished! Mount 1 at an angle on the left corner knob of the base plate, 1/2 with clasp overhanging to the front left. This means that it will sit in front of the front left end of the left corner brick.

Repeat symmetrically on the right, 1/2 with clasp overhanging to the front right.

Find 2 beige plates 2x6 with 2 rounded corners.

Hold 1 horizontally, rounded corners to the front, and then turn its right tip a bit to the back to hold it at an angle.

Mount the knob of its right pointy tip underneath the previous piece, the long side of the plate touching the front right edge of the base plate 8x8.

Repeat symmetrically on the left.

Find 2 light lavender bricks 1x4.

Put 1 at an angle into the inner corner of the left corner brick, extending towards the front left. This means that its long edge at the back will touch the corner brick and the left connection mount.

Repeat symmetrically on the right.

Find 2 transparent half-circle wall elements 5x4x2.

Put 1 next to the front right edge of the door frame, half circle to the back right. It will sit on the corner brick, the back half of the connection mount and the brick 1x4 mounted to the front right of the door.

Repeat symmetrically on the left.

We will stack 5 round bricks each to create the 2 pillars. The order of the 5 colors is identical for the 2 pillars, so we will build them in parallel. You can use the order of the colors that we are suggesting below, but of course you can also pick your own order if you prefer.

Put the 2 purple violet round bricks next to each other on the table.

Put 1 bright orange round brick on each purple brick.

Put the 2 yellowish green round bricks on top.

Put the 2 yellow round bricks on top.

Finish the 2 pillars with the light lavender round bricks.

Mount 1 centered on the right side wall with window which will connect the right round pillar with the right edge of the door frame.

Repeat symmetrically on the left.

Find 1 medium azure blue corner tile 1x2 - 1x2 with cut-off corner.

Turn it horizontally so that its cut-off corner is to the back and mount it centered on the back row of the door frame.

Find 3 teal blue round plates 1x1.

Put them on the 3 front knobs of the door frame.

The candy store entrance is finished! Well done! Of course we still need to build some interior for this area of the store as well as facade decorations. We will do so at a later point.

With this, we have finished building everything from bag number 1. Well done! We usually pack a few extra bricks pieces in each bag, so if you still have some pieces left there is no need to worry that you missed something. If you like, you can take a break now and return to the instructions later by skipping to the section introducing bag number 2. If you want to continue building right away, simply move on to the next sentence.

The pick'n'mix section of the candy store is finished! Well done! Turn it around to attach it to the other side of the candy store entrance, using the connection mounts and the side shafts of the pick'n'mix section.

You have finished building the entire set! Fantastic job! Now it is time to indulge in some delicious candy fun, play with Pluto and the mascots, scoop some loose candy or pick candy bars and try to make your own candy in the candy-making kitchen!

Enjoy!
