Paisley is serving customers at the ice cream truck! Can you help her prepare the tasty treats? Her friend Elsa D is deciding which flavor to get. There’s strawberry, chocolate and vanilla, and they all look delicious! Paisley places the scoops of ice cream onto the cones. Elsa D pays and the friends enjoy time with Paisley’s bunny, Melody, before Paisley drives the truck to the next location.

The box cover shows a sunny day in Heartlake City. The ice cream truck is parked on a sandy footpath surrounded by green meadows and lush green bushes in the middle of one of Heartlake City's beautiful parks. The city's skyline is only vaguely visible in the far back. The truck is a white and turquoise vehicle with large black wheels. It does not have a roof, and one of its long sides is open to easily serve customers. In front of the truck, paisley's cute pet bunny Melody is peacefully chewing on some grass. Elsa D is also standing in front of the truck: she has a banknote in her hand and a speech bubble above her head that shows a symbol for an ice cream cone with strawberry ice cream. Meanwhile, paisley is busy in the ice cream truck, ice cream spoon and the sprinkle dispenser in her hands. She is preparing Elsa D's order! To the right of the parked truck, there is a small table with a pink umbrella and two seats. At the bottom of the box cover, there are portraits of Melody, Paisley and Elsa D. Now, let's get started!

Open the box. It contains 2 booklets with visual building instructions, 2 numbered bags, and 5 loose pieces: 1 wagon bottom 6x16 with mudguards and 4 connectors, and 4 wide rubber tires with high profile. We will guide you through the building process by mentioning the bag numbers. Please ask a sighted person to help you identify the correct bags!

Carefully open bag number 1 and any small sub-bags in it. This bag contains all bricks and pieces for the Elsa D Minidoll, Melody the bunny, and the table with umbrella and chairs.

If you like, you can ask a sighted person to sort the pieces by color into bowls or trays before you start building. This usually makes finding the correct pieces easier! If you would like to build without brick colors entirely, you can also ignore them or turn them off. There are different ways to sort and organize the bricks and your building process. It's up to you!

First, we will build the Elsa D Minidoll.

Collect the following 2 pieces:

1 reddish brown and white Minidoll upper body,

and 1 purple violet and reddish brown pair of legs with skirt.

Put the upper body on the legs.

Collect the following 2 pieces:

1 black hairpiece with long curly hair in a high pony,

and 1 reddish brown Minidoll head.

Put the head on the body.

Put the hair on top.

Collect the following 3 pieces:

1 dark green flat tile 1x2 (this piece is printed),

1 sand blue bunny figurine,

and 1 bright yellowish green round plate 1x1 with 3 small leaves.

Snap the flat tile 1x2 in the left hand of the Minidoll. It is printed with a banknote worth 100.

Put the bunny figurine and the round plate with leaves loosely next to the Minidoll. The plate with leaves is the bunny's food!

The Elsa D Minidoll is finished! Well done! Elsa D is wearing a pink skirt and a white sleeveless T-shirt that is knotted in the bottom left corner, exposing a bit of her belly. The T-shirt has a turquoise collar and two horizontal bars printed on the chest, one pink and one turquoise. There is a purple arrow pointing to the turquoise bar. She wears a delicate blue necklace as well as black boots with a high shaft and dark blue laces. Elsa D has a dark skin tone, big hazel eyes and dark brown lips. She has a happy expression on her face, showing us a broad smile. She seems like a very positive person! Elsa D is accompanied by Melody, a greyish blue bunny with white fur around its snout and hazel eyes. There are two white patches of fur directly above Melody's eyes. Melody is Paisley's pet bunny, but Elsa D is looking after it as long as we're building. Let's keep going!

Now, we will build the table with umbrella and chairs.

Collect the following 2 pieces:

1 beige round plate 4x4 with middle hole,

and 1 white support stand 2x2x2.

Put the round plate 4x4 on the table.

Put the support stand centered on top of the round plate. Make sure there is one ring of empty knobs around the support stand.

Find 1 teal blue plate 2x2.

Put it centered on top of the support stand, aligned with its center. Its four corners will protrude evenly beyond the support stand's top surface.

Now, we will build the tabletop.

Collect the following 2 pieces:

1 lavender round plate 4x4 with middle hole,

and 1 light purple plate 2x2 with 1 knob.

Put the round plate 4x4 on the table. Make sure its knobs form straight rows and columns in front of you.

Put the plate 2x2 with 1 knob centered on top. Make sure its edges are at right angles in front of you like a square, not slanted like a diamond shape.

Find 4 white half-circle plates 1x2 with 1 knob.

Put one horizontally behind the previous piece, half circle to the back.

Repeat symmetrically at the front, half circle to the front.

Put one vertically to the right of the plate 2x2 with 1 knob, half circle to the right.

Repeat symmetrically on the left, half circle to the left.

If done correctly, the tabletop resembles a flower with four petals. What a pretty tabletop this makes!

The tabletop is finished! Great job! Put it centered on top of the base of the table we have built earlier. Make sure that the outline of the tabletop is aligned with the outline of the round plate 4x4 at the bottom.

Press down gently to secure all components in place.

Now, we will assemble a strawberry ice cream cone.

Collect the following 2 pieces:

1 beige inverted cone 1x1 with shaft,

and 1 light purple swirly ice cream topping 1x1.

Put the swirly ice cream topping on the hollow knob of the inverted cone.

The strawberry ice cream cone is finished! Well done! Insert its shaft into the half-circle plate 1x2 on the left edge of the tabletop.

Next up, we will build the sprinkle dispenser.

Collect the following 2 pieces:

1 lavender round brick 1x1,

and 1 beige round tile 1x1. (This piece is printed.)

Put the round tile on top of the round brick. Its print is white with red and green sprinkles.

The sprinkle dispenser is finished! Well done! Put it on the table, for instance on the half-circle plate on the right edge opposite the strawberry ice cream cone. Make sure that you leave the center knob of the tabletop empty. This is where the umbrella will go!

When you're done building the entire set, you will be able to store the ice cream cone and the sprinkle dispenser in the truck too if you want.

Now, we will build the umbrella.

Collect the following 2 pieces:

1 white shaft 6m with ring (6m means that this bar-shaped piece is around 6 knobs long),

and 1 transparent raspberry red umbrella top 6x6.

Put the umbrella top upside down on the table. This means that its edge is bending upwards.

Insert the short end of the shaft from the top into the umbrella's middle hole. This means that its ring is towards the bottom.

The umbrella is finished! Great job! Flip the umbrella right side up and insert the empty end of the shaft into the middle hole of the tabletop.

Next, we will build 2 chairs.

Collect the following 4 pieces:

2 teal blue round bricks 2x2 with top cross hole,

and 2 white panel elements 1x2x1 with back and side panels.

Put 1 round brick 2x2 on the table. Make sure its knobs form straight rows and columns in front of you.

Put 1 panel element horizontally on the round brick's back row, open side to the front. Its 2 back corners will protrude slightly beyond the round brick.

Repeat this with the second set of pieces.

Find 2 teal blue flat tiles 1x2.

Put 1 horizontally in front of one panel element, its front corners protruding to the left and right.

Repeat with the other flat tile on the second chair.

The 2 chairs are finished! Well done! Put them next to the table so the customers of the ice cream truck can sit down.

The table with umbrella and chairs is finished! Great job! The umbrella will provide the ice-cream loving crowd with much-needed shade on hot summer days and the chairs are a comfy resting place. Elsa D and Melody can check out the new equipment if you like!

Open bag number 2 and any sub-bags in it. You can choose to have the bricks sorted by color again. This bag contains all bricks and pieces for the Paisley Minidoll and the ice cream truck.

Next, we will build the Paisley Minidoll.

Collect the following 2 pieces:

1 light nougat brown Minidoll upper body,

and 1 lavender and light nougat brown pair of legs with cargo shorts.

Put the upper body on the legs.

Collect the following 2 pieces:

1 light nougat brown Minidoll head,

and 1 maroon red hairpiece with long hair in a side parting.

Put the head on the body.

Put the hair on the head.

Find 1 silver metallic Minifigure spoon.

Snap it into the Minidoll's right hand.

The Paisley Minidoll is finished! Well done! She is wearing lavender overalls with a cropped yellow tank-top on top, brown sneakers with white laces and soles and white socks. Her top is printed with a pink and blue horizontal bar with illegible handwriting in it. Paisley is wearing a blue necklace with a pendant shaped like a music note. She has blue eyes, pale pink lips and light brown eyebrows. She has a pale skin tone. She has a friendly but slightly shy smile on her face. Due to her side parting, her hair covers her right eye. She is our ice cream expert, so it's time to build her an ice cream truck! She can visit Elsa D and Melody in the meantime if you want.

Next, we will build the ice cream truck.

Collect the following 2 pieces:

1 teal blue wagon bottom 6x16 with mudguards and 4 connectors,

and 1 white plate 1x2 with 1 knob.

Put the wagon bottom 6x16 horizontally on the table, connectors pointing to the front and back.

Put the plate 1x2 vertically centered on the rightmost column of the recess. This means that the wagon bottom's rightmost column of knobs that is higher than the rest will remain empty, and the plate with 1 knob should sit on the 2 middle knobs of the second column counted from the right edge.

Find 1 beige brick 1x4.

Put it vertically centered to the left of the previous piece.

Collect the following 2 pieces:

1 white plate 1x3 with 2 knobs,

and 1 black small steering wheel with plate 1x2.

Put the white plate 1x3 with 2 knobs horizontally to the left of the previous piece. Make sure it sits to the left of the brick's backmost knob. In other words, it should sit on the second row from the back.

Put the steering wheel vertically in front of the plate 1x3 and to the left of the brick 1x4, steering wheel to the left.

Collect the following 2 pieces:

1 white panel element 1x2x1 with middle partition,

and 1 lemon yellow flat tile 2x2.

Put the panel element 1x2x1 vertically centered to the left of the steering wheel, middle partition pointing to the left.

Put the flat tile 2x2 to the left of the panel element.

This will later be the driver's seat. The middle partition of the panel element can be used to secure the Minidoll legs in place. We will try that later!

Find 1 beige brick 1x4.

Put it horizontally to the left of the plate 1x3 with 2 knobs. This means it will sit on the second row from the back.

Collect the following 4 pieces:

1 light purple plate 1x2 with 1 knob,

1 lemon yellow plate 1x2 with 1 knob,

1 reddish brown plate 1x2 with 1 knob,

and 1 white plate 1x2 with 1 knob.

Put the white plate 1x2 vertically on the previous piece's rightmost knob and the knob behind it. This means it will sit vertically on the two backmost rows of the vehicle.

Put the reddish brown plate 1x2 vertically to the left of the previous piece.

Put the light purple plate 1x2 vertically to the left of the previous piece.

Put the lemon yellow plate 1x2 vertically to the left of the previous piece.

These plates will serve as your ice cream containers later! The white plate represents vanilla, the brown plate is chocolate, the light purple plate is strawberry. You can use the lemon plate to securely store the sprinkle dispenser. Yum!

Collect the following 3 pieces:

1 aqua blue flat tile 2x4,

and 2 transparent red flat tiles 1x2.

Before you mount those pieces, turn the structure vertically. This means that on of the short sides of the wagon bottom is facing you and the connectors are now pointing to the left and right. Make sure the side with the steering wheel is all the way at the back.

Hold the flat tile 2x4 horizontally and flip it upright so that the smooth side is facing you. Put it centered on the side knobs pointing towards you. Make sure that there are 2 empty knobs to its left and 2 empty knobs to its right.

Put 1 flat tile 1x2 upright vertically to the left of the previous piece.

Repeat symmetrically on the right.

Collect the following 2 pieces:

1 white brick 1x1,

and 1 beige brick 1x4.

First, turn the structure horizontally again, but make sure that the 3 flat tiles we have just mounted in the previous step are now on the right. This also means that the 4 plates 1x2 representing the ice cream flavors are now at the front edge.

Put the brick 1x1 into the back right corner of the recess of the vehicle. Do not confuse it with the outmost corner at the back right that is higher than the recess; the outmost corner should remain empty for now.

Put the brick 1x4 horizontally to the left of the white brick 1x1.

Find 1 white fence element 1x4x1.

Hold the fence element horizontally so that the fence panel is at the back, and then flip it towards you. Now, its bottom side with the connecting holes for knobs should be pointing to the back and the fence panel should be flat at the top, a bit like a tabletop with holes.

Mount it horizontally on the 4 side knobs pointing to the front. This means it will sit in front of the 4 ice cream flavor plates 1x2 that are mounted on the front edge.

The fence surface with crisscross struts serves as a table-like structure in front of those four plates. You can later stick the ice cream cones between the struts of the fence element!

Collect the following 3 pieces:

1 white brick 1x2x3,

and 2 transparent wall elements 1x4x3 with 4 top knobs.

Put the white brick 1x2x3 horizontally on the backmost row of the vehicle, starting from the right edge. This piece is the first one that will be mounted on the outermost edge of the vehicle that is higher than the middle recess.

Put 1 wall element 1x4x3 horizontally to the left of the previous piece, wall panel to the front.

Put the other wall element 1x4x3 horizontally to the left of the previous piece, wall panel to the front.

Collect the following 2 pieces:

1 white brick 1x1x3,

and 1 transparent wall element 1x4x3 with 4 top knobs.

Put the transparent wall element 1x4x3 vertically on the rightmost column, wall panel to the left, leaving the frontmost knob of that column empty.

Put the brick 1x1x3 in front of the previous piece. This means it will sit on the frontmost knob of the rightmost column.

Collect the following 2 pieces:

1 white roof tile 1x2, 45° (this piece is printed),

and 1 white plate 1x3 with 2 knobs.

Put the roof tile 1x2 horizontally to the left of the previous piece on the frontmost row, slope to the left.

This piece is printed with a light blue cash register! It consists of a number pad, a credit card slot and a number display for the total sum.

Put the plate 1x3 horizontally to the left of the previous piece.

Collect the following 2 pieces:

1 white brick 1x4x3 (this piece is printed),

and 1 white brick 1x1x3.

Put the brick 1x1x3 into the wall corner that is formed by the back wall and the right side wall of the truck. This means that it will sit on a brick 1x1 that is already mounted there.

Put the brick 1x4x3 horizontally to the left of the previous piece, printed side to the front.

This piece is printed with the menu of the ice cream truck. It features the images of 3 cones with the different ice cream flavors available: chocolate on the left, vanilla in the middle and strawberry on the right. Below those 3 cones, there is a sprinkle dispenser that is positioned at an angle with star-shaped sprinkles in pink and purple shades trickling out. Each of the options costs 5 bucks. The bottom and side edges of the menu are framed by a dotted line of pink and purple dots, and the top edge is painted with pink paint that looks like melting ice cream.

Collect the following 2 pieces:

1 white brick 1x1,

and 1 white brick 1x2x3.

Put the brick 1x2x3 horizontally on the backmost row, directly to the left of the wall elements mounted there.

Put the brick 1x1 to the left of the previous piece.

Find 1 white brick 1x6.

Put it vertically to the left of the previous piece. This means it will cover the third column from the left.

Find 2 white curve bricks 2x3 with 4 knobs.

Put one vertically to the left of the previous piece, starting from the back edge, curve to the back. This means it will sit on the back halves of the 2 leftmost columns.

Put the other one vertically in front of the previous piece, curve to the front.

Collect the following 2 pieces:

1 white brick 1x1x3,

and 1 white brick 1x1.

Put the brick 1x1 on the frontmost row directly to the right of the previous piece.

Put the brick 1x1x3 to the right of the previous piece.

Find 1 light lavender plate 1x6.

Put it vertically on top of the previous piece and the identical brick mounted on the backmost row to connect them.

Find 1 transparent windscreen 2x6x2.

Put it vertically to the left of the previous piece, slope to the left. This means that it will be mounted on a lower level than the previous piece, but its top knobs are at the same level as the previous piece.

Find 3 light lavender one-stepped curve tiles 2x2.

Put one on the 2 previous pieces, starting from the backmost edge, curve to the left.

Put another one in front of the previous piece in the same orientation.

Put the last one in front of the previous piece in the same orientation.

Find 2 lemon yellow curve bricks 1x3x2 with 1 knob.

Put one horizontally on the backmost wall, directly to the right of the curve tiles from the previous step, curve to the left.

Put the other one horizontally to the right of the previous piece, curve to the right.

Find 1 white plate 1x5.

Put it horizontally to the right of the previous piece.

Find 2 light purple curve bricks 1x3x2 with 1 knob.

Put one horizontally in front of the previous piece, starting from the right edge, curve to the right.

Put the other one horizontally to the left of the previous piece, curve to the left.

Collect the following 2 pieces:

1 light purple plate 1x2 with 1 knob,

and 1 lemon yellow plate 1x2 with 1 knob.

Put the light purple plate 1x2 horizontally on top of the 2 previous pieces.

Put the lemon yellow plate 1x2 horizontally on the other 2 curve bricks that are mounted on the back wall.

You have just built two decoration elements: these curve bricks look like super-lifesized ice cream scoops!

Find 1 light lavender flat tile 1x4.

Put it vertically on the right side wall of the vehicle, it will touch the curve brick at the back and align with the front edge of the wall.

Collect the following 3 pieces:

1 white swirly ice cream topping 1x1,

1 beige inverted cone 1x1 with shaft,

and 1 reddish brown swirly ice cream topping 1x1.

Put the white swirly ice cream topping 1x1 on its corresponding ice cream container. This is the leftmost plate 1x2 that is mounted vertically on the 2 frontmost rows.

Put the reddish brown swirly ice cream topping 1x1 to the right of the previous piece. This means it will sit on the brown plate 1x2.

Insert the shaft of the inverted cone into the second hollow knob to the left of the cash register on the frontmost row.

Your ice cream truck is taking shape! Everything's ready to serve delicious ice cream cones. But there are a few more things that every proper truck needs, so let's continue building!

Next, we will assemble the 4 wheels.

Collect the following 8 pieces:

4 white wide rims with hole and spokes,

and 4 black wide rubber tires with high profile.

Put the rims into the tires.

The 4 wheels are finished! Well done! Mount the assembled wheels on the 4 connectors at the bottom of the vehicle, spokes facing outwards. Ensure the wheels are securely attached and the vehicle can roll smoothly.

Find 1 white curve plate 4x6x⅔ with 4 knobs. (This piece is printed.)

Mount it upright and centered on the side knobs pointing to the left. The plate is printed with yellow headlights that are framed with a pink metal rim and the front bumper which also is made of pink metal. There are small sparkly stars in blue and pink around the headlights.

The ice cream truck is finished! Great job! Let Paisley or Elsa D take it for a spin to see if your vehicle is ready for operation! Bend the legs of one of your Minidolls into a sitting position and slide the shoes on the partition plate next to the steering wheel! You will see that the Minifigure is now fixed in place. Off you go!

You have finished building the entire set! Very well done! You may have a few extra bricks and pieces left - these are spare parts. Feel free to store them or incorporate them into your build as you like! Now it's time to greet your customers and hand out tasty ice cream cones in great flavors. Don't forget to offer your customers sprinkles on top! While Paisley is busy in the truck, Elsa D can enjoy a cone of ice cream in the shade and watch Melody, the bunny. And when Paisley gets tired, they can either swap places or take a sweet break together. Your choice!

Enjoy!
