LEGO 42607 Autumn's Baby Cow Shed

LEGO Audio & Braille Building Instructions for the LEGO Friends set "Autumn's Baby Cow Shed".

Autumn has invited Leo over to meet her new calf. And look! The calf’s best friend, a baby bunny, has hopped over – it loves to hitch a ride on the calf’s back! Leo and Autumn wash and brush the calf and pick a carrot for the bunny. Then they pick flowers to decorate the animals and themselves before making a cozy sleeping area for their animal friends.

On the box cover, Leo and Autumn are in the middle of taking care of their furry friends. The scene takes place on a lush, rural meadow fenced in with a wooden fence in front of a blue sky with only a few clouds. The friends are standing on a dirt path. Autumn is carefully brushing the black and white calf with a hand brush, and Leo is offering a tasty carrot to the baby bunny. Behind them, we can see the cow shed with a double swing gate and beautiful floral decorations. For deep cleaning actions, there is a large revolving brush in the back. What a peaceful scene! The friends and the animals look very contempt. Let's start building!

Open the box. This can be tricky; ask someone to help you!

The box contains 1 booklet with visual building instructions, 2 unnumbered bags and 1 loose piece: a plate 8x8 with half-circle.

Carefully open the 2 bags and any small sub-bags in them.

Before you start building, ask a sighted person to help you sort the pieces by color. This makes finding the correct pieces even easier!

First, we will build the Autumn Minifigure.

Collect the following 2 pieces:

1 mud grey and light nougat brown pair of legs with cargo shorts, (Do not confuse them with Leo's legs which have longer pants)

and 1 light nougat brown Minidoll upper body with limb difference.

Put the upper body on the legs. Make sure that the arms and toes are pointing in the same direction.

Collect the following 2 pieces:

1 dark orange wavy hairpiece with side parting and plait,

and 1 light nougat brown Minidoll head. (The shape of this piece is identical to Leo's head. It is a lighter shade of brown though. If you are not sure that you are using the correct piece, ask a sighted person for help.)

Put the head on the body.

Put the hair on top, plait to the back.

The Autumn Minifigure is finished! Well done! Autumn has pale pink skin, ginger hair and eyebrows, green eyes, and cheeks full of pale freckles. She has a happy smile on her face. She is wearing teal blue flip-flops, olive green cargo pants and a moss-green tank top with a V-neck and a front print. The print is autumn-themed: it's 2 yellow mushrooms and 1 brown oak leaf.

Next, we will build the Leo Minifigure.

Collect the following 2 pieces:

1 medium nougat brown and white Minidoll upper body,

and 1 salmon pink and medium nougat brown Minidoll pair of legs with baggy Bermuda shorts.

Put the upper body on the legs.

Collect the following 2 pieces:

1 reddish brown short hairpiece with side parting,

and 1 medium nougat brown Minidoll head.

Put the head on the body, and the hair on top.

The Leo Minifigure is finished! Great job! Leo is wearing dark blue lace-ups with white soles, a salmon pink pair of baggy shorts and a white T-shirt with a pink collar and a colorful pattern print on it: there are pink flowers with white middles, splashes of green and a pink chest pocket. Leo has brown eyes and a friendly smile on his face.

Now, we will go look for the Farm Animals.

Collect the following 2 pieces:

1 dark orange bunny baby,

and 1 black and white calf.

The little calf is mostly white but has a few large black spots on both of its sides. It has big, trusting eyes. The left one is surrounded by a black blob of fur! And there is another, smaller black spot above the right eye. What a lovely animal.

The bunny has orange-brown fur and a cute little face. The area around its mouth is a lighter shade of brown, and its nose is pitch-black. Adorable!

The second floral ornament is finished! Great job! Put its leftmost knob on the rightmost side knob pointing to the front, its right tip pointing to the bottom right at an angle.

Decorations are playful elements where you can give free rein to your own ideas and taste. So whether you want the decorations to be at a symmetrical angle or rather organized more individually is completely up to you!

Find 1 lemon yellow butterfly decoration element 1x1.

Put it upright on the central side knob between the two floral ornaments.

Find 1 bright yellowish green watering can.

Try and fit it underneath the water tap! Its handle actually fits neatly into the Minidoll hands. As soon as your plants need some water, you can get Autumn or Leo to work.

The cow shed is finished! Well done! There is always lots to do on a farm: refill the feeding trough, water your plants, make sure the gates are closed when your animals need to stay put and keep your tools in order.

You have finished building the entire set! Fantastic job! It's time to check your tasks and duties. Maybe the plants need watering? Or is it time to clear out the shed? When all tasks are done, you can relax and enjoy your time on the farm. Pick some flowers, play with the animals, or give your calf a soothing brush. By the way: have you already found a name for the sweet little baby cow and the bunny? It's entirely up to you!

Enjoy!
