LEGO 41439 Cat Grooming Car 

LEGO Audio & Braille Building Instructions for the LEGO Friends set "Cat Grooming Car".

Emma and Mia are on a mission – to make the cats of Heartlake City look lovely! Emma is picking up a mom cat and a kitten in her cat car. Put them in the cute little seat and feed them a drink and snack. Take them back to the salon so Mia can work her snipping and clipping magic. Play with the kitten and keep her entertained while mom cat gets groomed.

On the box cover, Emma is standing in the front left, holding a feeding bottle. To her right, the brown kitten is eagerly awaiting to be fed. To the right of Emma and kitten is the aqua blue cat car, showing the car side and the front grille with a cool cat face print. There are even two pointy cat ears! At the back of the scene, Mia is busy grooming the grey mom cat that is sitting on the salon chair with a pink bow on its head.

Open the box. This can be tricky; ask someone to help you!

The box contains 1 booklet with visual building instructions, 2 unnumbered plastic bags, and 1 loose piece: the wagon bottom for the cat car.

Carefully open the 2 plastic bags.

Before you start building, ask a sighted person to help you sort the pieces by color. This makes finding the correct pieces even easier!

First, we will build the Mia Minidoll.

Collect the following 3 pieces:

1 light nougat brown and bright yellowish green minidoll upper body, (it is only possible to differentiate between Mia's and Emma's upper body based on the clothing prints. Ask a sighted person for help if you like.)

1 medium lilac pair of legs with shorts,

and 1 light nougat brown head. (Ask a sighted person for help to point out which head is Mia's.)

Assemble the Minidoll: put the upper body on top of the legs, and then put the head on top.

Collect the following 2 pieces:

1 bright red hairpiece with side curls and long ponytail,

and 1 sand blue cat figurine.

Put the hairpiece on the head.

Place the cat next to the Minidoll.

The Mia Minidoll is finished! Well done! Mia is wearing light blue shoes with light lilac laces and soles, a lilac pair of shorts and a green sleeveless zipper jacket with side pockets. Underneath she is wearing a light blue sleeveless shirt. Mia has green eyes and light brown freckles on her cheeks.

Next, we will build the Emma Minidoll.

Collect the following 3 pieces:

1 bright purple pair of legs with skirt,

1 light nougat brown and sand blue minidoll upper body,

and 1 light nougat brown head.

Assemble the Minidoll: put the upper body on top of the legs, and then put the head on top.

Collect the following 2 pieces:

1 black hairpiece with long wavy hair and tied-back bangs,

and 1 dark orange kitten figurine.

Put the hair on the head.

Place the kitten next to Emma.

The Emma Minidoll is finished! Great job! Emma is wearing purple shoes with white laces and pink soles, a pink skirt, a light lilac sleeveless shirt with white birds printed on it, and a blue sleeveless jeans jacket. She wears a dark blue double-row necklace with several large beads. Mia has brown eyes and a happy smile on her face.

Next up, we will build the cat car.

Find 1 aqua blue and medium stone grey wagon bottom 4x10 with 4 wheel arches and connectors.

Put it horizontally on the table.

Next, we will assemble the 4 wheels of the cat car.

Find 1 white wide rim with hole.

Find 1 black wide rubber tire with high profile.

Put the tire around the rim.

Find 3 more rims and 3 more tires.

Assemble the remaining 3 wheels just like the first one.

The 4 wheels of the cat car are finished! Great job! Snap them onto the 4 connectors of the wagon bottom.

Find 1 flame yellowish orange box bottom 2x2.

Put it into the rightmost corner of the lower part of the wagon bottom.

Collect the following 2 pieces:

1 flame yellowish orange flat tile 2x3,

and 1 black and white small steering wheel with plate 1x2.

Put the flat tile 2x3 horizontally to the left of the previous piece.

Put the small steering wheel 1x2 vertically to the left of the previous piece, steering wheel to the right.

Find 1 medium lilac plate 2x4.

Put it vertically on the two leftmost columns at the top.

Collect the following 3 pieces:

1 white plate 2x2 with 2 knobs,

and 2 medium lilac flat tiles 1x8.

Put the plate 2x2 centered on the two rightmost columns, 2 knobs to the left.

Put 1 flat tile 1x8 horizontally on the backmost row, starting from the right edge.

Repeat symmetrically on the front row.

Collect the following 3 pieces:

1 white round plate 2x2 with 1 knob,

and 2 transparent red flat tiles 1x2.

Put 1 flat tile 1x2 upright vertically on the backmost side knobs on the right side of the vehicle.

Put the round plate 2x2 upright in front of the previous piece.

Put the other flat tile 1x2 upright vertically on the frontmost side knobs on the right side.

Find 1 bright purple s-shaped trunk 3m. (This means that this piece is 3 knobs long)

Insert the shaft end of this piece into the side knob on the right side. Make sure the trunk is pointing to the top.

Find 2 aqua blue triple-sloped roof tiles 1x2, 45°.

Put them vertically next to each other on the leftmost column of the structure, slopes to the right.

This will be the ears of the cat face at the car front!

Collect the following 2 pieces:

1 transparent windscreen 2x4x2,

and 1 bright purple plate 1x4 with 2 knobs.

Put the windscreen 2x4x2 vertically to the right of the two previous pieces, slope to the left.

Put the plate 1x4 vertically on top of the previous piece.

Collect the following 2 pieces:

1 white curved plate 3x4x⅔ with 2 knobs (this piece is printed),

and 1 white flat tile 1x2.

Put the plate 3x4x⅔ vertically on the table, 2 knobs to the left.

Put the flat tile 1x2 vertically on top.

Flip this part upright and mount it on the 8 side knobs on the left side, rounded edge to the top. Make sure the bottom edge is flush with the vehicle bottom.

This plate is printed with a cat's face: the nose is heart-shaped and pink, the snout is white and the surrounding fur is aqua blue, the eyes are orange and the cheeks are two pink ovals.

Find 1 medium nougat brown round tile 1x1. (This piece is printed.)

Put it into the box in the right lower part of the car. It is a dark brown cat biscuit with light brown sprinkles and white icing in the form of a cat paw.

Now, we will build the removable cat seat.

Collect the following 2 pieces:

1 medium lilac plate 4x4,

and 1 bright purple smooth curve brick 1x4x1⅓.

Put the plate 4x4 on the table. Make sure it forms straight rows and columns in front of you.

Put the smooth curve brick horizontally on the backmost row, curve to the back.

Collect the following 2 pieces:

1 bright purple plate 2x2 with 1 knob,

and 1 medium lilac brick 1x2.

Put the plate 2x2 centered in front of the previous piece.

Put the brick 1x2 vertically to the right of the previous piece.

Find 1 bright purple smooth curve brick 1x4x1⅓.

Put it horizontally on the frontmost row, curve to the front.

Find 1 aqua blue feeding bottle with small shaft.

Put it on the front knob of the rightmost column.

The removable cat seat is finished! Well done! Mount it horizontally on the right half of the cat car, covering the box with the biscuit in it. Make sure the cat seat and vehicle are flush on the right edge.

The cat car is finished! Well done! Now, Emma is ready to go and pick up cats and kittens, feed them and play with them! Give it a test drive if you like!

Now, we will build the cat grooming salon.

Collect the following 2 pieces:

1 aqua blue half-circle plate 4x8,

and 1 medium lilac brick 1x2.

Put the half-circle plate 4x8 horizontally on the table, straight edge at the back, half-circle to the front.

Put the brick 1x2 horizontally on the backmost row, starting from the right edge.

Collect the following 2 pieces:

1 medium lilac brick 1x4,

and 1 medium lilac brick 2x2.

Put the brick 1x4 horizontally to the left of the previous piece.

Put the brick 2x2 to the left of the previous piece.

Find 1 bright purple plate 1x6.

Put it horizontally on top of the backmost row, starting from the right edge.

Collect the following 2 pieces:

1 white brick 1x2 with horizontal side clasp,

and 1 bright purple plate 1x2 with 1 knob.

Put the brick 1x2 horizontally on the previous piece, starting from the right edge, clasp to the front.

Put the plate 1x2 horizontally on top of the previous piece.

Collect the following 2 pieces:

1 white wall element 1x4x3 with top knobs (this piece is printed),

and 1 white roof tile 2x2, 45°. (This piece is printed as well.)

Put the wall element 1x4x3 horizontally to the left of the two previous pieces, panel to the front.

This piece is printed with a make-up mirror with four lights on the left and right sides each, and pink and lilac framing. It is decorated with one big and six small lilac star stickers at the top.

Put the roof tile to the left of the previous piece on the brick 2x2, slope to the front.

This piece is printed with a neon blue cash register consisting of a keypad, a contactless payment function and a slot for card payment.

Find 2 aqua blue triple-sloped roof tiles 1x2, 45°.

Put them horizontally on top of the wall element, slopes to the back.

Collect the following 3 pieces:

1 silver metallic pair of scissors,

1 medium azure blue hairbrush,

and 1 dark green flat tile 1x2. (This piece is printed.)

Snap the scissors handle into the clasp pointing to the front on the right side.

Insert the handle of the hairbrush into the top knob on the right edge of the backmost row.

Put the flat tile 1x2 on the left knob of the cash register on the left side.

This piece is printed with a banknote worth "100".

Find 1 flame yellowish orange box bottom 2x2.

Find 1 purple violet hair bow with heart.

Put the bow into the box.

Find 1 bright purple plate 2x2 with 1 knob.

Put it on top of the box bottom.

Put this box centered on the frontmost edge of this build.

The cat grooming salon is finished! Well done! Now, Mia can welcome all cats and kittens in her salon and fulfill all their hairstyle wishes. What a treat!

You have finished building the whole set! Very well done! Now Emma and Mia can treat the cats in all ways imaginable: Feed them, go on a ride with them, groom and style them. And don't forget the most important kitty treat of all: Cuddling!
